Ferrari 812 GTS and F8 Spider Debut In Malaysia

May 15, 2020, Kuala Lumpur – Naza Italia, the official importer and distributor of Ferrari cars in Malaysia, has announced that the Ferrari 812 GTS and the Ferrari F8 Spider had made its South East Asia debut in Malaysia.

Both models are available for private viewing until May 31, 2020. Those who are interested can contact Ferrari Malaysia Showroom to make an appointment or to find out more.

The Ferrari 812 GTS is powered by the front-mounted V12 engine that produces 789 hp. The front-mounted V12 architecture has not been used in a Ferrari series-production spider since the 365 GTS4.

Since then, four special limited editions series have been launch, which are the 550 Barchetta Pininfarina in 2000, the Superamerica in 2005, the SA Aperta in 2010 and the F60 America which just 10 were built to celebrate Ferrari’s 60th year in the American market in 2014.

The 812 GTS is not merly the most powerful production spider on the market, but it is also the most versatile, thanks to its retractable hard top, which resulted to a larger boot capacity. It only takes 14 seconds at speeds of up to 45 kph to open or close the retractable hard top.

As for the Ferrari F8 Spider, it is the latest generation of drop-top sports car equipped with the mid-rear-mounted award winning V8 engine.

The F8 Spider replaces the 488 Spider and improved on all aspects of its specifications. The engine now delivers 50hp more power and 20 kg lighter than its predecessor. However, it is 20 kg more than the 488 Pista Spider.
Apart from that, the F8 Spider is more aerodynamically efficient and it features the new 6.1 version of the Side Slip Angle Control System.

The Ferrari 812 GTS is priced at RM1,538,000, while the F8 Spider is retailed at RM1,178,000. Both prices mentioned are the base price, and it is before duties, customisation options, taxes and insurance.
