April 14, 2020, Goodwood – Rolls-Royce Motor Cars has launched the ‘Young Designer Competition’.
The competition is to encourage the new generation to pursuit their dreams and become an aspiring designer, as well as bring their automotive dreams to life.
At the same time, it is to provide parents and children with a welcome distraction during the worldwide coronavirus outbreak.
The ‘Young Designer Competition’ is opened for children age 16 and below. The competition enables designers of the future to let their imaginations and creativity to run free,even while they remained bound to their homes.
Aspiring designers can take the challenge and draw on their on their own creativity and desires to imagine the design of their very own super-luxury car. The competition is an extension of that which is run each year at the Rolls-Royce employees’ Family Day Celebration.
The marque’s Design team will judge all entries and select an overall winner, who will receive a rendered illustration of their design, a true once-in-a-lifetime, money can’t buy prize, as well as other prizes for outstanding entries. Runners-up will receive a hand-signed certificate from Rolls-Royce Motor CarsChief Executive OfficerTorsten Müller-Ötvös.
