All You Need To About The Facelifted Honda Civic

March 13, 2020, Kuala Lumpur – Honda Malaysia Sdn Bhd, the largest non-national carmaker in Malaysia, has launched the facelifted Honda Civic end of last month, and are the details you need to know about the changes and the upgrades.

The 10th generation Civic emerged as Malaysia’s favourite Honda model and dominated its segment with a market share of 72 percent in 2019. It sold more than 48,000 units since its launch four years ago and achieved a total sales of more than 135,000 units as at January 2020.

Honda Malaysia further raise the benchmark of the 10th generation Civic by introducing three variants the 1.8S, 1.5TC and top of the range 1.5TC-P, with added safety features and slight refreshment on its exterior.

The range topping facelifted Civic 1.5TC-P variant is now equipped with black painted grille, a new 18-inch black alloy wheels, a new truck spoiler, and the full suite of 8 Honda Sensing advanced safety features,which is previously only available in the CR-V, Accord and Odyssey.

Apart from that, all three facelifted Civic variants are fitted with a redesigned front bumper, redesigned rear bumper garnish, front sensors, auto front wipers, 8-way driver power seat, remote engine start and walk away auto lock, new steering switch, 60:40 split rear seat configuration and air conditioning fan control switch. The 1.8S variant comes equipped with a newly designed 16-inch alloy wheels.

Meanwhile, the 1.5TC gets LED headlights with LED daytime running lights, LED front fog lights and chrome outer door handle. At the same time, Both the 1.5TC and the 1.5TC-P variants now comes with new leather seats and Honda LaneWatch feature.

All variants of the facelifted Civic is equipped with six airbags, vehicle stablity control, anti-lock braking system, agile handle assist, hill start assist, emergency stop signal, brake assist, auto brake hold, front sensors and rear seat ISOFIX anchor points.

The 1.8S variant is carrying a price tag of RM 113.600, while the 1.5TC variant is retailed for RM 129,600. As for the range topping 1.5TC-P, it is priced at RM 139,600. All price mentioned are the on-the-road price, excluding insurance.

There are a new colour option for the facelifted Civic, which is the Passion Red Pearl, that was added on top of the other colour options such as the Lunar Silver Metallic, White Orchid Pearl, Modern Steel Metallic and Crystal Black Pearl.
