Mazda CX-30 Is Opened For Booking

November 19, 2019, Kuala Lumpur – Bermaz Motor Sdn Bhd, the exclusive distributor of Mazda vehicles in Malaysia, has announced that the fully-imported from Japan CX-30 is opened for booking with a starting price from RM 143,119.20, on-the-road, excluding insurance and for West Malaysia private registration only.

The completely built-up (CBU) CX-30 is offered in three variants – Mazda CX-30 SkyActiv-G 2.0L 2WD, Mazda CX-30 SkyActiv-G 2.0L High 2WD and the Mazda CX-30 SkyActiv-D 1.8L Diesel High 2WD.

The CX-30 SkyActiv-G 2.0L 2WD and CX-30 SkyActiv-G 2.0L High 2WD, is powered by the SkyActiv-G 2.0-litre Double Overhead Cam (DOHC) 16-valve 4-cylinder with VVT petrol engine, paired with the SkyActiv-Drive 6-speed automatic with manual shift mode transmission. It produces 163 hp at 6,000 rpm and 213 Nm of torque from 4,000 rpm, with a top speed of 196 kph.

As for the CX-30 SkyActiv-D 1.8L Diesel High 2WD, it is running on SkyActiv-D 1.8-litre DOHC 16-valve 4-cylinder with VVT diesel engine, mated to the SkyActiv-Drive 6-speed automatic with manual shift mode transmission. The mill generates 114 hp at 4,000 rpm and 270 Nm of torque from 1,600 to 2,700 rpm. It has a top speed of 183 kph.

All three CX-30 is measured in at 4,395 mm in length, 1,795 mm in width, 1,540 mm in height and a wheel base of 2,655 mm. It weighs about 1,400 kg for the petrol variants and about 1,500 kg for the diesel variant. It has a 420 litres of boot space and 51 litres of fuel tank capacity.

The standard equipment list for shared across three variants include LED auto headlamps, rain sensing wipers, powered adjustable and folding side mirrors with turn signals, powered sunroof, rear spoiler, push-to-start button, electronic parking brake, multi-function leather steering wheel with tilt and telescopic adjustments, one-touch power window, sunglasses holder, 8.8-inch full colour infotainment system with Android auto and Apple Carplay ready, Mazda connect Infotainment system with voice command, cruise control and reverse camera.

As for the base variant CX-30 SkyActiv-G 2.0L 2WD is fitted with the 16-inch alloy wheels, silver dashboard trims, manual adjusted climate control, manual adjusted driver seats, and fabric seats.

On the other hand, both the CX-30 SkyActiv-G 2.0 High and CX-30 SkyActiv-D 1.8 High comes with 18-inch alloy wheels, LED headlamps with signature illumination function, LED combination taillights, Mazda Advance keyless entry, powered tailgate, parking sensors, frameless auto-dimming rear view mirror, bright dashboard trims, paddle shifters, dual-zone auto climate control, rear air-vents, 10-way powered adjusted driver seat with memory function, and leather seats.

In terms of the safety features all three variants are equipped with six SRS airbags, anti-lock braking system, dynamic stability control, electronic brakeforce distribution emergency brake assist, traction control system, emergency stop signal, hill launch assist, auto hold function, auto door lock, seat-belt warning, engine-immobiliser anti-theft system and ISOFIX child seat mounting points.

At the same time, both the high variants have the Mazda Advance Safety Technologies on board, which include features like the adaptive front-lighting system, high beam control, blind spot monitoring system, rear cross traffic alert, driver attention alert, smart brake support and the radar cruise control.

There are eight colours to choose from – Soul Red Crystal, Machine Gray, Snowflake White Pearl, Deep Crystal Blue, Sonic Silver, Polymetal Gray, Titanium Flash and Jet Black.

The base variant CX-30 is priced at RM 143,119.20, while the Mazda CX-30 SkyActiv-G 2.0 High 2WD retails at RM 164,119.20. As for the diesel variant, it carries a price tag of RM 173.027.70. All prices mentioned are on-the-road, excluding insurance and for West Malaysia private registration vehicles only.

All new Mazda vehicles registered from January 1, 2019 onwards is covered by the 5-Years manufacturer or 100,000 km which every comes first warranty and the 5-Years or 100,000km whichever comes first free maintenance (except Mazda BT-50) according to manufacturer’s standards inclusive of labour, parts and lubricants.
