October 16, 2019, Kuala Lumpur – The award-winning Ford Ranger pickup truck has drove its third quarter retail sales up by 12 percent from prior quarter.
The solid sales also helped the Ford Ranger to increase its market share in the pickup segment in the same quarter by gaining 1.5 percent from 14.8 percent in the previous quarter, to 16.2 percent.

The Ranger remains the favorite pickup truck in Malaysia who appreciates a vehicle that complements both work demands and customer’s lifestyles.
In addition to being one of the best-selling pickups in the market, Ford Ranger is also one of the most awarded vehicles in its segment. Ford Ranger Raptor, the first and only performance pickup truck in Malaysia was recently awarded with the ‘Best Pickup Truck’ at the 2019 Star CarSifu Editors’ Choice Award.
Meanwhile, the Ranger was also named the ‘2019 Malaysia Pick-Up Truck of the Year’ at the Frost & Sullivan Asia Pacific Best Practices Award, ‘Best Pickup Truck of Malaysia’ 2019 at the Cars of Malaysia Award, ‘Pickup Truck of the Year’ at the 2019 DSF.my Allianz Vehicle of the Year Awards.
