Thailand’s Isuzu D-MAX Gets A Full-Model-Change After 8 Years

October 14, 2019, Thailand – Isuzu Motor Ltd has debuted the full-model-changed 2020 Isuzu D-MAX in Thailand and will be open for sales from October 19.

The D-MAX has undergone a full model change for the first time in 8 years.The popular pick-up truck is well designed not only as a passenger car for personal use but also as a vehicle of station-wagon type for business use.

It remained the top-ranking brand in Thailand and was awarded with the 2019 Most Popular Pick-up Truck, Best Fuel Saving Pick-up Truck, Best Life Style Pick-up Truck and many more.

The 2020 Isuzu D-MAX is powered by the newly developed 3.0-litre turbodiesel mated to a six-speed manual transmission or an automatic transmission. It produces 188 hp and 450 Nm of torque. There is also the RZ4E 1.9-litre turbodiesel four-cylinder variant will be offered, however, Isuzu haven’t release the power ratings for it during press time.

Among the upgrade includes bi-LED projectors headlamps, LED taillights, a more rugged outlook, fresh newly designed interior, 9-inch infotainment screen with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay functions, blind-spot monitoring and cross-traffic alert system.

The upcoming 2020 Isuzu D-MAX will be available in a Regular Cab, Space Cab or Crew Cab model. The V-Cross trim is available only in Crew Cab 4×4 variant.
